Finishing works are the heart of every renovation and new build — they are what transform a raw shell into a liveable, functional, and visually refined space. At Trading Build Engineering, we treat this phase with meticulous precision, because we know that every millimetre of unevenness on a wall and every imprecise grout line is something the client sees every single day.

## Dry Construction & Drywall Systems

Dry construction is the modern standard for partitioning, lining, and shaping interior spaces. We work with systems from Knauf and Rigips — Europe's two leading manufacturers, whose products are tested and certified to European standards EN 520 and EN 14195.

We install all types of plasterboard: - **Standard (GKB)** — for residential rooms with normal humidity levels - **Moisture-resistant (GKBI)** — for bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas, with up to 10% lower water absorption - **Fire-resistant (GKF)** — for firewall partitions rated EI 30, EI 60, EI 90, and EI 120 - **Acoustic (high-density)** — for partition walls between apartments, bedrooms, and offices - **Impact-resistant** — for public buildings, corridors, and high-traffic zones

The framework is built on galvanised steel profiles (CW/UW for walls, CD/UD for ceilings) set at precise centres of 40 or 60 cm depending on the load requirements. For sound insulation we place mineral wool with a density of 30 to 80 kg/m cubed inside the cavity.

## Suspended Ceilings

Suspended ceilings serve both a decorative and functional purpose. We install: - **Flat suspended ceilings** from plasterboard — to conceal services, integrate LED lighting and spotlights - **Multi-level ceilings** — with coves for indirect lighting, curved forms, and designer accents - **Grid ceilings** (Armstrong, AMF) — for offices, retail spaces, and public buildings where easy access to services above is required

Every suspended ceiling is designed with consideration for room height, ventilation openings, fire protection requirements, and acoustic comfort.

## Plastering & Surface Preparation

Plastering is the process that determines the final visual quality of walls and ceilings. We work to three finish levels: - **Q2** — standard finish for surfaces that will be wallpapered or receive decorative plaster - **Q3** — fine finish for matt paint - **Q4** — super-fine finish for gloss paints and surfaces under direct lighting where every imperfection is visible

We use Knauf plaster compounds (Fugenfuller, Uniflott, Rotband Finish) and machine application for consistency and speed. Joints between boards are reinforced with paper or fibreglass tape to prevent cracking.

## Painting & Decorative Coatings

Painting is the final touch that sets the overall atmosphere of a room. We carry out: - **Priming** — an essential step that equalises absorption and improves adhesion - **Machine painting** — with airless sprayers for a perfectly even coat with no roller marks - **Hand painting** — for details, corners, and small areas - **Decorative plasters** — Venetian plaster, mosaic plaster, textured coatings (bark effect, travertine, concrete effect)

We use water-based paints from leading manufacturers (Caparol, Dulux, Tikkurila) that comply with environmental standards for interior use.

## Screeds & Floor Preparation

Before any flooring can be laid, the substrate must be perfectly level. We install: - **Cement screeds** — the traditional option at 3 to 8 cm thickness for rough levelling - **Self-levelling screeds** — self-flowing compounds for final levelling accurate to 1-2 mm - **Anhydrite screeds** — fast-drying and ideal for underfloor heating systems

For projects with underfloor heating we strictly follow the required initial warm-up and gradual temperature-increase protocols before any flooring is laid.

## Flooring — Laminate, Parquet, Ceramic & Porcelain Tiles

We offer the full range of flooring solutions: - **Laminate** — quick click-lock installation, wear class AC4/AC5 for homes and AC6 for commercial spaces - **Parquet (solid and engineered)** — installed via glue-down or floating method with an acoustic underlay - **Ceramic and porcelain tiles** — bonded with flexible adhesive, grouted with epoxy or cementitious grout, rectified formats for minimal joint widths - **Luxury vinyl tile (LVT)** — a waterproof alternative for bathrooms and kitchens with realistic wood-grain textures

We always leave expansion gaps at perimeters and thresholds as specified by the manufacturer.

## Wall Tiling

Ceramic wall tiling is standard for bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas. Our process includes: - Full waterproof membrane application before tiling - Adhesive application with a notched trowel for complete contact - Precision cuts with a wet tile saw for openings around taps, sockets, and non-standard shapes - Grouting with antibacterial grout for high-humidity zones

## Masonry Works

As part of the finishing scope we also carry out masonry: - Lightweight partition walls from aerated concrete blocks (Ytong, Xella) - Load-bearing elements from ceramic bricks - Decorative niches, shelving, and architectural details

## Sound Insulation & Noise Protection

We deliver comprehensive acoustic solutions: - Double and triple plasterboard walls with mineral wool — achieving sound insulation up to Rw 65 dB - Acoustic suspended ceilings with perforated boards - Floating screeds with resilient edge strips for impact noise - Sealing of all penetrations and service openings
